The project activities are folded in three categories: sharing the knowledge on innovative methods for teaching and learning and identification of digital and green skills in air transport; developing new curricula and teaching and learning materials; developing new digital tools for interactive teaching and learning as OER.

The implementation of these activities will be ensure through a solid project management and extensive dissemination of the results.

University POLITECHNICA of Bucharest, Romania

University “Politehnica” of Bucharest (UPB) is the oldest and most prestigious engineering school in Romania, with a tradition of over 190 years, where studies can be done in 4 European languages. It defines itself by creating knowledge through research and technological innovation and implementation through education and vocational training at European level. The mission of UPB is blending education, research and innovation, which represents a key towards a knowledge based society and economy. Creating knowledge mainly by scientific research, giving it out by education and professional training, disseminating it by information technologies, as well as the use of technological innovation are elements that define the universities distinctive profile.

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is the oldest and largest technical university in Spain. It consists of twenty Schools plus two Faculties that cover most engineering disciplines as well as Architecture and Sports Science. UPM has more than 3,000 faculty members, around 38,000 undergraduate students, and around 8,000 graduate and doctoral students. About 5,000 students graduate every year. UPM is focused on higher education and research. UPM as a top quality academic establishment has a strong commitment to R&D and Innovation, boasting 217 Research Units and 19 Research Centres and Institutes, contributing significantly to the international scientific community with a high number of journal papers, conference communications, and PhD theses. UPM has a long tradition of collaboration with Industry (around 50% of its R&D funding) and participation in international R&D programs. It ranked first Spanish University by its participation in international programs.

Université de Strasbourg, France

The University of Strasbourg was founded in the 16th century by Johannes Sturm, a protestant scholar. Sturm created a Protestant Gymnasium in 1538 with the mandate of disseminating knowledge, one of the core values of Humanism. Through the years, the Gymnasium progressively developed into an Academy and a University before it finally became the Royal University in 1631.

Strasbourg is the second most international university city in France (after Paris). Today, the University of Strasbourg counts 42.000 students, offers initial and further education in a wide range of academic fields and is an international player in scientific research..

In aviation, aircraft ground handling defines the servicing of an aircraft while it is on the ground and (usually) parked at a terminal gate of an airport. Menzies Aviation covers all of the variety of handling services, starting from ramp services (consisting of towing and pushback, lavatory services, luggage handling, refueling, air cargo handling – cargo dollies and loaders, ground power, deicing etc.) to field operations service (which dispatches the aircraft and maintains communication with the rest of the airline operation at the airport) and passenger services.
