Creative Digital Teaching And Learning For Green Air Transport And Logistics

The project activities are folded in three categories: sharing the knowledge on innovative methods for teaching and learning and identification of digital and green skills in air transport; developing new curricula and teaching and learning materials; developing new digital tools for interactive teaching and learning as OER.

The implementation of these activities will be ensure through a solid project management and extensive dissemination of the results.

University “Politehnica” of Bucharest (UPB) is the oldest and most prestigious engineering school in Romania, with a tradition of over 190 years, where studies can be done in 4 European languages. The mission of UPB is blending education, research and innovation, which represents a key towards a knowledge based society and economy. Creating knowledge mainly by scientific research, giving it out by education and professional training, disseminating it by information technologies, as well as the use of technological innovation are elements that define the universities distinctive profile.

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is the oldest and largest technical university in Spain. It consists of twenty Schools plus two Faculties that cover most engineering disciplines as well as Architecture and Sports Science. UPM has more than 3,000 faculty members, around 38,000 undergraduate students, and around 8,000 graduate and doctoral students. About 5,000 students graduate every year. UPM is focused on higher education and research. UPM as a top quality academic establishment has a strong commitment to R&D and Innovation, boasting 217 Research Units and 19 Research Centres and Institutes, contributing significantly to the international scientific community with a high number of journal papers, conference communications, and PhD theses. The University of Strasbourg was founded in the 16th century by Johannes Sturm, a protestant scholar. Sturm created a Protestant Gymnasium in 1538 with the mandate of disseminating knowledge, one of the core values of Humanism. Through the years, the Gymnasium progressively developed into an Academy and a University before it finally became the Royal University in 1631.
